Dear Exhibitors, Partners, Vendors & Del Mar Community,
We are so excited to have you back for our third season of top sport at Del Mar Horsepark. We are looking forward to
building from last year’s experiences to make this coming season even better! With our ear to the community's needs,
we introduced a third tier of less expensive stabling, a new show credit policy and offered a complimentary Amateur
only clinic with the legendary Sabine Schut-Kery. It was a great weekend of learning and fun for eight local amateurs that
were chosen from a raffle jar.
○ We have refined our refund policy in an effort to make entering one of our shows less daunting. HITS Del Mar
Dressage will offer entry refunds AFTER official closing date UNTIL midnight the day before competition begins for
medical/vet reasons! Office fee will be deducted. Merchant card fees are non refundable once processed. Please send
email with proof of qualifying issue to Kim@HITSShows.com by midnight the day before show begins to be eligible.
○ We will be using Fox Village Dressage for entry processing and still using Black Horse for paperless instant scoring!
○ We will be using a new service called Equitrace for all document uploads and bio security. The goal is to make every
thing more streamlined...but we realize with that comes learning and doing something new. But with this application
your documents that are valid for longer than one show can be saved and re-used from your account!
○ In addition to placing classes separately by division as we always do, we will now also schedule the Open division
separately from AA/JR/YR divisions!

All CDI horses with passports stabling in the secured FEI barns MUST follow new FEI protocols: In accordance with Art. 1029 and 1031 of the FEI 2022
Veterinary Regulations, as of January 2022, ALL Horses competing at ALL FEI Events worldwide must fulfill the Horse Health Requirements via the FEI HorseApp.
Main Requirements There are three main requirements you must fulfil for each Horse:
1. Take two daily temperature readings for every Horse that will be present at an FEI Event for the three days leading up to the day of arrival and enter these
recordings in the FEI HorseApp. For clarification, the three days prior to your arrival at the FEI Event are calculated as per this example: If you plan to
arrive at the Event on the Thursday, you will have to enter the temperatures for the three preceding days, which are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
To avoid violating the Horse Health Requirements, temperatures should be entered on a regular/daily basis
2. Fill in a Horse Health FEI Self-Certification form for all Horses attending an FEI Event. To be filled in and submitted via the FEI HorseApp the day before
or the day of arrival at an FEI Event
3. Take the temperature of each Horse twice a day at the FEI Event using your own thermometer and record the measurements directly in the FEI HorseApp.
Access to the FEI HorseApp is also available for your Grooms and Support Personnel so they can also enter the daily temperature recordings of your Horses.
They can connect to the FEI HorseApp with their FEI ID number. If they do not yet have a FEI ID number they can create one here.
Non-compliance with the FEI Veterinary Regulations and Horse Health Requirements will result in sanctions. These sanctions are already in force for Horses
competing at FEI Events in Mainland Europe and will be introduced worldwide in due course. Support & Guidelines All information regarding the FEI HorseApp
can be found here. You will need to log in to the FEI HorseApp with your FEI ID number and password.
Guidelines on how to use the FEI HorseApp to fulfil the Horse Health Requirements can be found here. The Horse Health Requirements can be found here, with a
specific section for Athletes and Grooms. If you have any questions or require any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us by email at USERSupport@FEI.org
The Degree of Difficulty (DOD) – Floorplan for the Grand Prix Freestyle will be used at both Dressage Opener and Dressage Affaire. Athletes are required to
login using their own credentials on to DressageFreestyle.FEI.org to create or assign their Grand Prix Freestyle floorplan at the latest 2 hours prior to the horse
inspection.
